영과 진리로 예배하는 예배자를 찾으시는 하나님 아버지께서, 우리의 예배를 통해 올려 드리는 모든 감사와 찬양과 영광을 기쁘게 받으실 줄 믿습니다.
We believe that Heavenly Father, who is looking for worshipers who worship with spirit and truth, will gladly receive all the thanks, praise, and glory that we offer through our worship.
지난주 대강절 넷째주에는 누가복음 2:1-7, 11 말씀을 통하여, 예수님께서는 겸손하게 누추한 구유에 오셨는데, 그 이유는 예수님께서는 겸손의 왕이고 또한 우리가 죄인으로 있는 낮은 곳에 우리를 구원하기 위하여 오셔야만 했다고 배웠습니다. 이번주 성탄후 첫주일에는 히 1:1-4 맗씀을 통하여 예수님의 호칭인 그리스도의 의미와 예수님의 삼중직에 대해서 알아보고 함께 은혜 나눌 수 있기를 소망합니다.
Last week, in the fourth week of Advent, trough Lk 2:1-7 & 10, we learned that Jesus came to a lowly manger because He is the king of humility and also came there to save us who were stuck in the sin and darkness. This week, in the first Sunday after Christmas, through Heb 1:1-4, we would like to learn the meaning of Christ and the threefold offices of Christ.
1) 히브리서 1장 1-4절에는 예수님의 삼중직에 대해서 잘 나타나 있습니다. 2절에는 예수님은 하나님의 복음에 대해서 말씀하시는 분으로 소개 되고 있는데, 이 말은 예수님은 그의 택자들에 대한 하나님의 오묘한 경륜과 뜻을 우리에게 계시해 주시고 가르쳐 주시는 선지자이시라는 말씀이며, 3절에서는 예수님께서는 죄를 정결케 하시는 일을 하셨는데, 결국 자기 몸을 제물로 드려 우리를 구원하시고 지금도 하나님 우편에서 우리를 위하여 간구하시는 대제사장의 일을 하신 것이며, 또한 하나님 보좌 우편에 앉으셨다는 말씀은 말씀과 성령으로 그의 백성들을 다스리시며 그의 구속으로 말미암은 자유 안에서 그들을 지키고 보호하시는 왕으로써의 사역을 하셨다는 것을 말하는 바 이 세가지 직분을 예수님의 삼중직이라고 하는 것입니다. In Heb 1:1-4, threefold offices of Jesus are well explained. In verse 2, Jesus is introduced the one who spoke about the Gospel of God that He is the prophet who reveals and teaches the secret of counsel and will of God for the elect and in verse 3, Jesus is said to do the purification of sins that He is the High Priest who sacrificed Himself to save us and also pleads for us to God the Father. And finally in vv.2 & 3, He is said to sit down in the right hand of God the Father that He is our King who reigns, guards, and keeps us in the freedom that He has earned for us. These are called the threefold offices of God. (Heidelberg Catechism Q&A #31)
2) 그리고 예수님께서는 그리스도로도 불리십니다. 그런데 이 그리스도 (Christ) 라는 말은 헬라어 “Χριστός (Christos, 크리스토스) 에서 왔고 히브리어로는 “משׁח” (메시야) 입니다. 이 단어는 “기름 부음 받은 자”라는 뜻으로 고대 이스라엘에서 왕이나 선지자나 제사장을 세울 때 기름을 부어 세운 것에서 연유합니다.
And we know that Jesus is called Christ also which comes from the Greek “Χριστός (Christos) and is the synonym of the Hebrew “משׁח” (Messiah).
3) 그런데, 행 11:26 에서 안디옥 교회의 교인들이 처음 그리스도인으로 불려진 이후로 예수를 믿는 사람들은 그리스도인들로 불려 지고 있는데, 이 그리스도인에 해당하는 Christian 이란 단어는 Christ 와 tian 의 합성어로 Christ 는 기름부음 받은 자, tian 은 little 이란 뜻으로 작은 기름부음받은 자들이란 뜻이며, 또한 고후 1:21-22 말씀처럼, 하나님께서는 우리 믿는 자들도 기름을 부어 인치시고 보증으로 성령을 주셨습니다.
After the believers are called as Christians from the church at Antioch, we, the believers are called Christians. The word Christian is the composite of Christ which means the anointed one and tian which means little so that it means little anointed ones, since 2 Cor 1:21-22 says that God anointed us and sealed and gave His Spirit as a deposit.
4) 오늘 본문을 통해서 우리가 은혜 받기를 원하는 것은 첫째, 메시야이신 예수님의 삼중직은 또한 우리들에게도 이어져 작은 기름부음 받은 자로써, 우리 자신을 감사의 산 제사로 드려, 죄와 마귀에 대항하여 그리스도인의 삶을 살아야 할 뿐 만 아니라 장차 그리스도와 함께 영원히 만물을 다스리게 될 것임을 알고 (하이델베르그 요리문답 32문답) 이 세상에서 그렇게 왕으로 준비 되어지고 예비되어지는 삶을 살아야 할 줄로 믿습니다. 그리고 둘째, 출19:6 에서 하나님께서 이스라엘 백성들을 종살이 하는 애굽에서 구속해 내시고 그들을 제사장 나라로 언약을 맺어 주신 것처럼, 우리 그리스도인들의 삶 또한 제사장으로서의 사명 즉 죄를 정결케 하는 일에 부르심을 받았다는 사실을 깨닫게 되기를 소망합니다. 그리고 세번째로는 우리가 선지자로써 하나님의 비밀스런 복음을 이 땅에 선포할 뿐 만 아니라, 성령으로 말미암아 하나님의 일을 분변할 수 있어야 할 줄로 믿습니다. 기도 하옵기는 성탄절기를 맞아, 우리 각자의 부르심, 즉 왕, 제사장, 선지자로서의 소명을 발견하여, 이 땅의 질서를 회복하고 새 하늘 새 땅을 건설해 가시는 하나님의 큰 일에 함께 할 수 있는 복된 하나님의 백성들 다 되시기를 소망합니다.
Through Today’s Bible verses, we would like to receive few graces: Firstly threefold offices of Jesus Christ were empowered to us as His little anointed ones, so that we have to practice to be His king in this side of world as we will become His king in the eternal life, in addition to living as Christians against sins and the evil, after giving our body as a living sacrifice. (Heidelberg Catechism Q&A #31) And secondly, as in Ex 19:6, God redeemed the Israelites from the slavery of Egypt, making the covenant to make them His nation of priests against the world, we also as His priests, have to live the life to clean His world. And thirdly, as His prophet, we have to proclaim the secret of Gospel of God to this world and also need to discern the will of God through the Holy Spirit. I pray that in this season of Christmas, we may find God’s calling as king, priest, and prophet and become His blessed people to recover His creation order and to participate in the wonders of God to build new heaven and new earth.
