영과 진리로 예배하는 예배자를 찾으시는 하나님 아버지께서, 우리의 예배를 통해 올려 드리는 모든 감사와 찬양과 영광을 기쁘게 받으실 줄 믿습니다.
We believe that Heavenly Father, who is looking for worshipers who worship with spirit and truth, will gladly receive all the thanks, praise, and glory that we offer through our worship.
지난주 대강절 둘째주에는 창 41:41-57 을 통하여, 요셉을 통해 나타난 예수님에 대해서, 알아 보았습니다. 이번 주 대강절 셋째주에는 마 25:31-40 말씀을 통해서, 우리도 예수님의 재림을 기다리지만, 실은 예수님께서도 우리를 기다리고 계시는데 어디서 무엇을 기다리시는지 알아보고 같이 은혜 나눌 수 있기를 소망합니다.
Last week, in the second week of the Advent season, through Gen 41:41-57, we learned that the OT also points toward Jesus, i.e., through Joseph, we can see Jesus. This week, in the third week of the Advent season, through Matthew 25:31-40, we would like to know that Jesus is also waiting somewhare for us to do something, while we are waiting for His second coming.
1) 여러분도 잘 아시다시피, 예수님은 신성과 인성 두 Nature 가 한 인격 (Person) 안에 같이 거하십니다. 그래서 예수님은 지금 하늘 나라 하나님 우편에 앉아서 우리를 위해 중보기도하고 계십니다는 말씀 (롬 8:34) 도 예수님의 인성을 고려할 때 참이되는 말씀이라고 할 수 있습니다. 그리고 예수님은 지금 온 우주에 편재해 계십니다는 말씀 (마 18:20)도 예수님의 신성에 대해 참이 되는 말씀일 뿐 만 아니라, 요일 3:24 말씀처럼, 말씀이신 예수님께서는 또한 성령을 통하여 우리 안에 거하시기 때문에, 요 14:23 우리가 예수님의 계명을 지킬 때에 우리 안에 거처를 정하시겠다는 약속과 마 28:20 세상 끝 날까지 우리와 함께 하시겠다는 약속을 지키시고 계심을 알 수 있습니다.
As you know very well, Jesus is a person with two natures – divinity and humanity. Therefore it is true that Jesus in His humanity is at the right hand of God in the heaven, while interceding for us (Rom 8:34). And also it is true that Jesus in His Divinity is omni-present in the universe (Mt 18:20) and Jesus dwells in us through the Holy Spirit as 1 Jn 3:24 so that we know that He keeps His promise to dwell in us as John 14:23 says “We will come to him and make our home with him” and Mt 28:20 says “I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
2) 그런데 우리가 예수님의 재림을 기다리는 대강절 셋째주를 맞아, 우리가 예수님께서 우리 마음에 찾아 오셔서 우리의 주님으로 또 우리의 왕으로 우리를 인도하시고 다스려 주시기를 기도하면서, 과연 우리가 이미 우리 마음 속에 와 계시는 예수님을 우리 마음의 주인으로 모셔들이고 예수님을 우리의 왕으로 모시는 것이 아니라, 계 3:20 말씀처럼 우리 마음의 바깥에 예수님을 손님처럼 내버려 두고는 있지 않은지 함께 고민해 보기를 소망합니다. 예수님을 우리 삶의 주인으로 우리 마음의 왕으로 모시지 않는 한 우리 삶의 변화도 일어나지 않으며 주님을 기쁘시게 할 수도 없습니다. 기도 하옵기는 대강절 셋째주를 보내면서, 과연 내가 예수님을 내 삶의 주인으로 모시고 살아가고 있는지 돌아보아 주님의 왕되심을 인정하는 복된 시간이 되기를 소망합니다.
But, in the Advent season when we wait for His second coming, while we are praying for Him to come in our heart and to lead and reign us as our King, we would like to think about whether we leave Him outside of our heart as a guest as Rev 3:20 says, not welcoming Him into the center of our heart. Unless we do not let Jesus be the Lord of our heart, we cannot be transformed into His image and please Him. I pray that in the third week of Advent, we may check whether we live letting Him to be our Lord and acknowledging Jesus’ kingship or not.
3) 그리고 마태 25:31-40과 요한 12:26 을 보면, 예수님께서는 헐벗고 주리고 목 마르고 옥에 갇힌 자들과 함께 계시며, 예수님을 섬기고자 하는 사람들은 이런 사람들을 돌아보고 섬기라고 하시면서 그들을 섬긴 것이 바로 예수님을 섬기는 것이라고 말씀하고 있습니다. 기도하옵기는 대강절을 보내면서 예수님의 재림을 기다리는 우리가, 예수님께서는 실은 헐벗고 주리고 목마르고 옥에 갇힌 자들과 함께 하시면서 오히려 우리가 그 섬김의 자리로 와서 주님과 함께 그들을 섬기기를 원하신다는 사실을 깨닫고 그렇게 주님을 따를 수 있기를 소망합니다.
And according to Matt 25:31-40 and John 12;26, Jesus is with those who are hungry, thirsty, strangers, sick or in prison so that His disciples who want to serve Him have to take care of them and serve them, since to serve them is to serve Him. I pray that in this season of Advent, we can follow Him as we serve those who are hungry, sick, naked and in prison.
4) 기도하옵기는, 오늘 대강절 세번째 주일을 맞아, 주님 오심을 기다리면서, 우리 마음의 주인이 되시기를 원하시며 우리가 마음 문을 열고 주님을 마음의 주인으로 모셔들이기를 원하시는 주님의 음성을 듣고 주님을 마음과 삶의 중심에 모셔들이고 주님과 동행하시는 복된 은혜를 누리는 우리 모두가 되기를 소망합니다.
I pray that we may accept Him as our Lord and enjoy His presence in our life after hearing His voice to be the master and the Lord of our heart in the third Sunday of the Advent season.

Q1 Everyone has own mind where thinking and feeling and willing take place. Who do you think the lord of your heart now? Even though we think that we are the master of our heart (mind), yet sometimes there are many cases that the lord of our heart may be the pride of this world, or the money, or even idols. I hope you may share your thought on who the master of your heart is with your friends. 여러분 우리 모두에게는 마음이 있습니다. 생각하고 느끼고 결심하는 모든 것을 하는 곳이라고 보면 되겠습니다. 그런데, 그 마음의 주인은 누구라고 생각하십니까? 우리는 때때로 우리가 우리 마음의 주인이라고 생각하지만 그렇지 않은 경우도 있습니다. 명예나 재물이 우리 마음의 주인인 경우도 있고 우상이 우리 마음의 주인인 경우도 있습니다. 여러분들의 생각을 친구들과 나누어 주시면 좋겠습니다.

Q3 According to Today’s text, Jesus is still with those who are hungry, naked, sick and in prison and He want those who want to serve Him to serve them. I am wondering where it is or who they are near us? 오늘 본문을 보면 예수님께서는 지금도 헐벗고 굶주리고 아파하고 갇힌 자들과 함께 하시는데, 주님을 섬기고자 하는 사람들은 주님이 계시는 그곳에 와서 그들을 섬기라고 하십니다. 여러분 주위에 그런 곳이 어디일까요? 여러분 주위에 그렇게 여러분들이 섬겨야 할 사람들이 있는가요? 여러분들의 생각을 그룹원들과 나누어 주면 좋겠습니다.
